Uchenna Igboeme Innocent, widely known as Igwe Dikin, has been appointed as the Chairman of the Nigerian Young Professionals Forum (NYPF), Enugu State Chapter. This appointment marks a new chapter for the organization, which aims to empower and develop young professionals across the region.
Uchenna Igboeme is a seasoned professional with over a decade of experience in the media and communications industry. Hailing from Iwollo-Oghe in Ezeagu Local Government Area of Enugu State, Igboeme has built a reputation for his ability to convey complex technical media information in an eloquent and accessible manner. His career trajectory showcases a blend of innovative media practices and strategic communication skills.
One of Igboeme’s most notable achievements was his pioneering work at Afia Radio, where he made history as the first broadcaster in Eastern Nigeria to successfully simulcast on both radio and television for an impressive seven hours during the station’s official launch. This groundbreaking feat highlighted his technical expertise and commitment to pushing the boundaries of traditional broadcasting.
In 2024, Igboeme took on the role of Executive Producer for TEDx Enugu, orchestrating a highly successful event attended by over 1,500 participants. The event featured esteemed speakers such as H.E. Peter Obi, Paul Onwuanibe, Kanayo O. Kanayo, Emeka Mba, Napa Onwusah, and Nkem Nweke, further establishing his capability in event management and thought leadership.
Currently, Igboeme serves as the Managing Director/CEO of Chase Media Consult and the Director of Communications and Partnership at Boys Champions Foundation. His contributions to leadership, media, communication, social development, and politics are well-recognized. He also holds prestigious professional certificates from the National Broadcasting Academy and a certification in Brand Management from the University of London.
