Emphasizing on the critical role of unbiased assessment of governance in a democratic society, a reputable group embarked on a comprehensive evaluation of the performance of the administration of the Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency, Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, in alignment with the promises he made to the people of Enugu State during the campaign period.
In their first quarterly meeting of the year 2024, held in Enugu on 4th of March 2024, the staunch support group for Gov. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, the "ENUGU COALITION MOVEMENT FOR PETER MBAH (ECMP)" passed a vote of confidence on the Governor, following their resolution on the Governor's achievements, cutting across several sectors, including security, water, infrastructure, electricity, education, Housing and environmental management.
With a unanimous vote of confidence, the coalition expressed unwavering support for Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah's vision and leadership, signaling a strong endorsement of his efforts towards the prosperity and sustainable development of Enugu State.

COMMUNIQUE ISSUED AT THE END OF THE FIRST QUARTERLY MEETING OF THE YEAR 2024 OF THE COALITION MOVEMENT FOR PETER MBAH
INTRODUCTION:
In our first quarterly meeting for the year 2024, the Enugu Coalition Movement For Peter Mbah, a pivotal support group for Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah during the electoral campaign process, conducted a thorough appraisal and assessment of the administration's performance. With an objective and unbiased approach, we critically examined the accomplishments and trajectory of His Excellency Dr. Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah's administration concerning the fulfillment of campaign promises to the people of Enugu State.
APPRAISAL/COMMENDATIONS
We highlighted critical sectors where the administration of Barr. Peter Mbah has done excellently well which includes:
1. Security: We laud the Governor's significant efforts and strategic acumen in restoring relative peace in Enugu State. Acknowledging the notable decline in heinous crimes perpetrated by both marauding herdsmen and unidentified gunmen, we applaud his administration's effective measures in curbing insecurity. Furthermore, we urge the Governor to sustain the prioritization of safeguarding the lives and properties of citizens, recognizing it as the fundamental duty of the government.
2. Water Provision: We commend His Excellency for promptly fulfilling his campaign pledge to ensure access to clean and potable water for the people of Enugu State within his first one hundred and eighty days in office. Recognizing water as indispensable for human survival and acknowledging its perennial scarcity in the state, we appreciate the ongoing initiatives to revamp water infrastructure, including the replacement of aging pipes, aimed at enhancing water supply to the populace.
3. Massive Road Infrastructure: We express satisfaction with Gov. Peter Mbah's administration's proactive approach towards infrastructural development, particularly in the realm of road construction. Applauding the simultaneous execution of urban and community-based road projects despite prevailing economic challenges, we commend the administration's commitment to enhancing transportation networks across the state.
4. Education Sector: The introduction of innovative models such as Smart Schools in the education sector garnered commendation from us. Noting the commencement of construction on these pioneering educational facilities across various wards in the state, we recognized the administration's dedication to revolutionizing the educational landscape, setting a precedent for transformative initiatives in the region.
5. New Enugu Electricity Regulatory Commission: We hail recent establishment of the New Enugu Electricity Regulatory Commission as a significant milestone by us. Emphasizing the potential for job creation and economic revitalization through improved power generation and supply, we commend the foresight of the state government in passing legislation to institutionalize the commission, thereby fostering industrial growth and attracting investment opportunities.
6. Waste Management: We express satisfaction with ongoing efforts aimed at restoring the aesthetic appeal of Enugu Capital City through the Environmental Sanitation and Waste Management Agency (ESWAMA). Commending the government's proactive measures, including the procurement of waste management vehicles and the reintroduction of monthly sanitation exercises, underscoring the importance of maintaining a hygienic environment for the well-being of residents.
7. Housing Development: The establishment of the New Enugu City Management Agency and Geographic Information System services received accolades from us for their potential to address housing challenges through the agency's commitment to providing housing solutions for diverse socio-economic demographics. On the issue of land administration, we commend the Government for the Geographic Information System Services Innovation for its ability to Streamline land administration processes highlighting the importance of resolving land ownership disputes to foster sustainable urban development.
RESOLUTION:
In light of the aforementioned achievements and commendations, we unanimously passed a vote of confidence in the leadership of His Excellency Barr. Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah. The motion for this vote of confidence was moved by the Director General of the coalition, Rt. Hon. Dr. Chinedu Nwamba, and seconded by Rt. Hon. Iloabuchi Aniagu, the endorsement symbolizes the collective confidence, trust and support of the coalition towards the administration's vision and efforts. We conclude by extending heartfelt prayers for divine guidance and wisdom to His Excellency as he continues to steer the affairs of Enugu State towards prosperity and sustainable development.
This communique serves as a testament to our unwavering commitment in supporting the administration of Barr. Peter Mbah and championing the aspirations and welfare of the people of Enugu State under the dynamic leadership of Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah.
