Yesterday, Enugu witnessed a historic moment as the community came together to celebrate the Grand Opening of the Ken David Orphanage Home & Widows Empowerment Center established by Mr. Ken and Dr. Favour David, this event marked the beginning of a new era in humanitarianism for the regionThe ceremony, held at the center's premises located at No. 2 Onovo Street, Ebony Paint Road, Topland Market, Gariki, Enugu, commenced at 12pm amidst an atmosphere of excitement and anticipation. 

The Grand Opening ceremony had the Deputy Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency Barr. Ifeanyi Ossai officially unveiled the Ken David Orphanage Home, marking a significant moment in the event. In His official remarks which came with a sense of pride and optimism, His Excellency, Barr Ifeanyi Stated; "It is with great pleasure that I unveil the Ken David Orphanage Home, a symbol of compassion and dedication to the welfare of our most vulnerable citizens. This noble initiative embodies the spirit of community and solidarity, and I commend Mr. Ken and Dr. Favour David for their unwavering commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of our people. Together, let us continue to work towards a brighter future for all."

The Deputy Governor, Barr. Ifeanyi Ossai, went further to commend the founders of the Ken David Orphanage Home and Women Empowerment Center, Mr. Ken and Dr. Favour David, for their exemplary dedication and compassion in establishing this vital institution.
