As we usher in the new month of February 2024, I, Dr. George Ajogwu, the Director-General of the esteemed Gburugburu Free Surgery Programme, extend warm greetings and heartfelt wishes to the resilient and dynamic people of Enugu State. It is with great joy and gratitude that I reflect on the remarkable strides made in the past month, thanks to the visionary leadership of our esteemed Governor, His Excellency, Barr. Peter Mbah, and his dedicated Deputy, Barr. Ifeanyi Ossai.
Throughout January, Governor Mbah and Deputy Governor Ossai have demonstrated unwavering commitment and exemplary leadership in advancing the development agenda of Enugu State. Their tireless efforts have yielded tangible results, with significant progress witnessed across various sectors.
Particularly noteworthy are the administration's initiatives aimed at addressing critical needs and enhancing the quality of life for all residents. From initiatives to improve access to essential services such as electricity and clean water to the ongoing road construction projects in Enugu Metropolis, their commitment to infrastructure development is commendable.
Additionally, the Smart School Project stands as a testament to their forward-thinking approach to education, harnessing technology to empower future generations. Moreover, their proactive measures to enhance security and promote the overall welfare of the people of Enugu State have fostered a safe and conducive environment for all to thrive.
As we embark on this new month, let us continue to support and collaborate with Governor Mbah and Deputy Governor Ossai in their noble endeavors to build a brighter and more prosperous future for Enugu State.
