The Enugu State Women Prayer Network is set to hold its monthly prayer gathering tomorrow, Friday, the 9th of February, 2024. Hosted by the Office of the First Lady, Enugu State, the event will take place at Okpara Square, Enugu, starting at 9 am.
Her Excellency, Mrs. Nkechinyere Mbah, the Wife of the Governor of Enugu State, extends a warm invitation to women ministers, chairpersons, and women from the 17 local government areas. The event is open to women from all churches, women politicians across political parties, wives of political office holders, as well as wives of traditional rulers and town union presidents, teachers, and market women.
The primary objectives of the Enugu State Women Prayer Network include praying for the success of the government, ensuring security in the land, fostering unity and love among Enugu State women, advocating for empowerment and equitable distribution of democracy dividends, and organizing training and seminars on women-related issues.
The Enugu First Lady, Her Excellency, Mrs Nkechinyere Mbah's spirit of compassion aligns seamlessly with her appeal for unity, love, and collective prayer at the upcoming event. This also underscores the importance of seeking divine intervention for the betterment of Enugu State. The Women Prayer Rally, therefore, becomes an extension of her holistic approach towards fostering positive change, uniting women from diverse backgrounds to collectively dedicate the state to God.
Established in 2002, Evangelist Mrs. Favour Ngozi Ugwuanyi, the Coordinator of Enugu State Women Prayer Network and her Assistant, Pastor John Ogbodo and other dedicated ministers who pioneered the Prayer Network have continued to show unwavering commitment as the Enugu State Women Prayer Network aims to reinforce teamwork with the Wife of the Governor and the entire women community in Enugu State as spiritual pillars to hold the state together and firm.
