The Women Support Women Community Network (WOSCONET) extends heartfelt congratulations to REDFoundation as the organization announces its full backing from the Enugu State Government for a groundbreaking Mega State-Wide Soft Skills and Entrepreneurship Development Training Project.
REDFoundation has shown credibility, far-reaching experience and excellent track records in Community Organizing, Youth Engagement and Social Development and is set to mobilize Young Women across the various Communities in Enugu State for Jobberman's Soft Skills Training with the goal to tackle Youth unemployment in the State. On this new development, Jobberman aims to train 20,000 Young Women (between the age of 18-35) and enable a significant proportion of them to secure dignified and fulfilling work in record time.
The first phase of the project will go on from January through April, 2024 and beneficiaries will get quantum values for their participation throughout the process. REDFoundation revealed to the Enugu State Government that apart from the Soft Skill Trainings, plans are still afoot by Jobberman to organize Entrepreneurship Development Trainings, Career Clinics, Job Fairs as well as establish a Job Centre at the Local Government Area level in Enugu State.
"While we commend the Enugu State Government for backing up this nouveau project, we also applaud the efforts of REDFoundation in ensuring Women participation in various Human Capital Development activities in the State as we further encourage Young Women in Enugu State that are eligible for this opportunity to take advantage of it squarely" they stated.
The Project is implemented by REDFoundation in partnership with Jobberman Nigeria with special support from MasterCard Foundation.
