Gburugburu Free Surgery Programme has once again demonstrated it's unwavering commitment to solving the health need of Enugu citizens throughout a recent medical interventions that saved four individuals with different Surgery Cases at free cost.
The healthcare initiative owned by the former governor of Enugu State, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi has recently spread its activities to other parts of the state as a way of taking his humanitarian activities closer to the people, this expansion of hus act of humanity led to the recent inflow of patients with surgical cases that brought about the records of more patients in this new year 2024.
The most recent beneficiaries shared their testimonies, expressing how the Humanitarian healthcare initiative came through and restored them back again. One the beneficiaries Oyi Thomas from UVURU had complicated Right inguinoscrotal with associated Hydrocoele and was corrected through a surgical procedure.
The other, Okechukwu Diugwuoke from Abbi residing in Onitsha came left Hydrocoele of the cord which has been troubling him for several years and Gburugburu Free Surgery Programme Saved his life through their medical interventions free of charge.
Also, Caroline Aruma who hails from Ugbene Ajima, residing in Lagos, came to Enugu on hearing of the activities of the Healthcare Programme, had Giant Lipoma on the left shoulder and Lumpectomy was done to remove it.
Another Enugu citizen resident in Lagos, Blessing Asogwa who hails from Opi in Nsukka Local Government Arrea had a complicated uterine fibroid and myomectomy done. Blessing expressed her gratitude to Rt. Hon.Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi whom God used to save her from the fibroid which she has been carrying and was looking for a solution.
The Director-General of Gburugburu Free Surgery Programme, Dr. George Ajogwu commended the former Governor of Enugu State, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, describing him as "Messiah of Our Time". Dr. Ajogwu highlighted the efforts of Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi through Gburugburu Free Surgery Programme, ensuring that no citizen of Enugu State will spend money on any health matter relating to surgeries who can be carried out by the Surgery Programme.
Dr. Ajogwu thanked Ugwuanyi whom he said has continued to sponsor the healthcare initiative even after he left office as the governor of Enugu State, in support of the good governance of the current Governor, His Excellency, Barr. Peter Mbah and his Deputy, His Excellency, Barr. Ifeanyi Ossai, thanking them for the significance development strides they have demonstrated in Enugu State within a short they have spent in the office as The Governor and Deputy Governor of Enugu State.
