Umuada Senator Kelvin Chukwu, a support group for Distinguished Senator Kelvin Chukwu representing the great and hardworking people of Enugu East Senatorial zone has called on the people of the zone regardless of their socio-political background to support the 'young' senator so as to actualize his laudable programs for the people of the zone.
Leader of the women, Chief Lolo Bank Anike, made the call yesterday when senator Chukwu received the group in his Amurri home town on a courtesy visit.
The secretary of Umuada Senator Kelvin Chukwu, Evang. Favour Anike who expressed gratitude for senator's open door policy, assured the lawmaker of their “unflinching support and loyalty”.
Speaking to newsmen shortly after the visit, Chief Mrs. Anike who led the group said “we are here to felicitate with the People's senator on his landslide victory at the Appeal Court, and to also pray for his success.”
Continuing, she disclosed that “we are also here to pledge our support, as Women of the zone and as Labour Party faithfuls, that we are fully with his government and we will do all that is necessary in order to achieve his ‘putting the people first' mantra.
