The Institute of Management and Technology (IMT) in Enugu has reached a significant milestone in academic excellence, proudly announcing its inaugural set of Graduating Students under Degree Programs in affiliation with the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN).

In an exclusive phone interview with newsmen, Prof. Nweze highlighted that IMT's Degree Courses encompass diverse disciplines, including Accounting, Banking and Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, Marketing, Mass Communication, Public Administration, and Statistics.
Established in 1973 and inspired by the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Boston, Massachusetts, USA, IMT has evolved with nine academic schools and 40 academic departments. Prof. Nweze emphasized that the achievement of the first set of Graduating Students in degree courses signifies a watershed moment in the academic development of the institute.
Speaking on the quality of the learning environment at IMT, Prof. Nweze asserted that it fosters academic and moral training, along with skill acquisition, shaping students into individuals of character and knowledge.
The successful realization of IMT's desire for university status, led by Prof. Nweze and the management team, has materialized through a strategic partnership with one of Nigeria's foremost universities, UNN. This collaboration allows IMT to confer degrees in multiple disciplines, marking a significant leap in the institute's academic journey.
