Massive Jubilation Flows in Enugu as Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi's Gburugburu Free Surgery Programme Successfully Delivers Two Baby Boys in Two Caeserean Sections (CS), Saves 1yr-5months Baby with Right Hydrocoele of the Cord through Surgical Procedures


A wave of jubilation has swept through Enugu as the Gburugburu Free Surgery Programme, founded by former Governor, His Excellency Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, successfully delivered two baby boys through separate Caesarean Sections (CS). Additionally, the program saved the life of a 1-year-5-months-old boy by addressing a Right Hydrocoele of the Cord through surgical procedures.

Families of the newborns expressed overwhelming joy and gratitude for the successful deliveries facilitated by the humanitarian healthcare initiative, heaping prayers on Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi for his compassionate for humanity. The parents of the 1-year-5-months-old boy, whose life was saved through the surgical procedure, joined the celebration, highlighting the transformative impact of the Gburugburu Free Surgery Programme in Enugu State which they're now among the beneficiaries.

Dr. George Ajogwu, the Director-General of the Gburugburu Free Surgery Programme, shared details of the remarkable surgeries. "To the glory of God, the surgeries were conducted from 10 pm on November 29th until 4 am today, November 30th, counting several hours of active and successful operations. By God's Grace, We delivered two boys through different Caesarean Sections and performed surgery on a 1-year-5-months old baby. To God be the Glory," he stated.

Ugwuanyi's philanthropic efforts were commended, with Dr. Ajogwu emphasizing the alignment of these endeavors with the former Governor's commitment to supporting the current administration of His Excellency, Barr. Peter Mbah and his Deputy, His Excellency, Barr Ifeanyi Ossai.

Founded and financed by Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, the Gburugburu Free Surgery Programme continues to bridge gaps created by financial constraints for Enugu citizens, earning admiration for its dedication to alleviating healthcare challenges in the state.

This recent success follows the life-saving intervention for a 14-year-old boy in Ugwuaji, Enugu South LGA, addressing hernia, as well as two others with chest and neck giant lipomas. The Gburugburu Free Surgery Programme stands as a testament to Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi's love and commitment to the well-being of the people of Enugu State.
