Jubilalion erupted in Obeleagu Umana community in Enugu State, as the Executive Chairman of Ezeagu Local Government Area, Honorable Chukwudi A. Ozoeluba, inaugurated the Obeleagu Umana Health Center on Monday, October 2, 2023. The inauguration was conducted on behalf of the Executive Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency Barrister Peter Mbah, by the Honorable Commissioner for Health, Prof. Emmanuel Obi.
At the inauguration ceremony, Commander John Aneke, the President General of Obeleagu Umana community, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Honorable Chukwudi A. Ozoeluba for the remarkable initiative, describing it as a project driven by the genuine welfare of the people.
The Commissioner for Health, Prof. Emmanuel Obi, lauded the Executive Chairman's dedication to improving the healthcare sector within his local government council. He emphasized that this initiative aligns with Governor Mbah's administration's overarching goal of achieving a "Zero poverty index."
During his speech, Honorable Chukwudi A. Ozoeluba urged community members to consider the healthcare center as their own and to actively participate in its maintenance and protection for the benefit of the entire community.
The Obeleagu Umana Health Center is a state-of-the-art medical facility, fully equipped with modern healthcare materials and staffed by highly qualified nurses, ensuring the provision of top-quality medical services to the local residents.
Honorable Okolo Clifford, the Councilor representing Obeleagu Umana, commended the proactive and steadfast leadership of Honorable Ozoeluba, highlighting the government's commitment to its responsibilities.
