The Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency Barr Peter Ndubuisi, has successfully secured the NG-CARES Grant Programs for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Enugu State. This initiative is aimed at empowering and supporting the citizens of the state.
The Enugu SME Center and the Enugu NG-CARES Team is thrilled to announce the return of the grant, as expressed in a statement by the Special Adviser to the Governor on SME, Hon. Arinze Chilo-Offiah.
The NG-CARES Grant Programs for MSMEs is a collaborative effort between the World Bank, the Federal Government, and the Bank of Industry (BOI). This program is designed to bolster the survival and growth of SMEs in Enugu State, focusing on three vital Delivery Link Indicators (DLIs):
DLI 3.1 (Credit Enhancement Grants): Provides financial support to distressed Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) in the state.
DLI 3.2 (Operations Grants): Offers one-off grants to cover essential operational costs such as salaries, rent, and utilities, ensuring the continued operation and growth of MSMEs.
DLI 3.3 (IT Enhancement Grant): Grants to assist MSMEs in adopting digital technology and covering integration costs for online platforms.
Applicants are reminded that they can apply for only one of the three DLIs, and it is crucial that their Bank Verification Number (BVN) name matches their registration and account name for eligibility.
