In a deep emotional farewell, the former Enugu State House of Assembly Member, Hon. Paul Nnajiofor, said his final goodbye to his beloved wife, Mrs. Vivian Oluchukwu Nnajiofor, who tragically passed away at the age of 45 after a brief illness. The funeral was marked by a remarkable turnout of mourners, as friends, family, and well-wishers joined to pay their respects.

Rt. Hon. Paul Nnajiofor, affectionately known as Ononenyi, extended his sincere appreciation to all those who contributed to making the funeral a dignified and touching event. The funeral service, held at the Assemblies of God Church in Mbulu Owo, Nkanu East LGA, Enugu State, saw a massive gathering of attendees. Ifeanyi Ossai, the Deputy Governor of Enugu State, was also represented by one of his Senior Special Assistants, Barr. Solomon Ejim.

The event also saw the participation of Enugu State Government Executive Committee members, Local Government Council Chairmen led by Hon. Sydney Okechukwu Edeh, who also serves as the ALGON Chairman of Enugu State, and Hon. Cletus Akalusi, the State Secretary of PDP, who represented the State Chairman, Hon. Patty Okoh, among others.

Prof. Paul Emeka, the General Superintendent of Assemblies of God Church. Rev. One of the poignant highlights of the event was a successful Thanksgiving church outing organized by the Nnajiofor family at Assemblies of God Church Mbulu Owo on Sunday, 22nd of October, 2023. During this special service, a significant announcement was made—the inauguration of a foundation dedicated to promoting rural healthcare in honor of the late wife of the former honorable lawmaker, Rt. Hon. Paul Nnajiofor. This foundation will carry forward the values and principles that Late Mrs. Vivian Nnajiofor held dear, focusing on healthcare access in rural areas.

The dedication to this noble cause received substantial support from the community and dignitaries alike. Chief Engr. Festus Onuh, the Chairman of Ferotex Group of Companies Ltd, demonstrated his commitment to the work of God and the foundation by generously donating N1 million to the Church in Hon. Nnajiofor's village.

This act of generosity showcased the unity and solidarity among those who attended the Thanksgiving church service and their shared dedication to the legacy of Late Mrs. Vivian Nnajiofor. Traditional rulers, led by HRH Igwe Dr. Abel Nwobodo, HRH Igwe H. A. Edeani, HRH Igwe Obiora Igweshi, Igwe Benneth Ikenna, and many other Royal fathers, graced the occasion. Numerous community organizations, youth groups, elders' councils, and various forums joined in, demonstrating their support.

The immense gathering of mourners also included representatives from educational institutions, such as ESUT and IMT governing councils, as well as youth organizations like the National Youth Council of Nigeria and Nkanu Youth Organization.

Serving and past Honourable Commissioners and Executive Council members, reflecting the widespread respect and influence of Mrs. Vivian Nnajiofor, Inlaws from Ubakala Umuahia in Abia State, underscoring the family's diverse roots and the connections that stretch across different regions and numerous groups not explicitly mentioned, have also joined the assembly, standing in solidarity with the Nnajiofor family during this occasion.
