Gov. Mbah Graces the 2023 Passing Out Parade of Nigerian Correctional Service Training School Enugu ....Urges the newly commissioned officers to serve the nation with diligence and exhibit an exemplary lifestyle


The Enugu State Governor, His Excellency, Barr Peter Mbah congratulates the newly commissioned officers of the Nigerian Correctional Service, in a solem and inspiring passing out ceremony at the Nigerian Correctional Training School in Enugu. The event took place on Friday, September 29, 2023, and was marked by an atmosphere of commitment and patriotism.

Gov. Peter Mbah was represented at the ceremony by the Commissioner for Children, Gender Affairs and Social Development, Hon. Mrs. Ngozi Enih. The ceremony was crowned with parade deomonstrations, mentorship and speeches by different speakers and notable guests, reminding them of the crucial role they're saddled with in upholding the law and delivering their services diligently.

They're urged to lead by example and maintain an exemplary lifestyle as custodians of the law, stressing that they had been called to leadership positions within the correctional system, where their duty is to ensure the safety and rehabilitation of offenders.

Their role in the great and noble enterprise is to keep offenders safe and sound in custody and ultimately help them become better individuals than they were before.
