In his bid to foster innovation and effectiveness within Enugu State's administrative landscape, the Commissioner for Information, Hon. Akaeze Aka, has called upon information officers from various departments under the ministry to embark on a quest for novel approaches in their duties. This appeal seeks to ignite a spirit of creativity and progress, ensuring that the dissemination of crucial information evolves to meet the ever-changing demands of the modern era.
He made the statement in his first meeting with information officers at the Ministry of Information hall
Mr. Akaeze Aka urged the information officers to embrace the spirit of punctuality at work and take their duty with utmost importance so that all of us would be on the same page, represent ourselves very well, and inform people as suitable.
He explained that "we need to establish a new way of doing things, a disruptive innovative way of doing things according to His Excellency Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, these are things we must do differently, a new form of leadership, a new form of governance, and a new form of orientation, orientation of the people working in the Ministry so that we appreciate our duty and responsibility to the Ministry at large ".
He encouraged the information officers to work hard and protect their names, especially in the course of their duty so that the world will know that they are very important.
Commissioner Aka stressed that he had plans to make an effective change that would bring a positive impact that we need in the Ministry.
He promised to tackle all the issues laid down by information officers and make the Ministry number one among the Ministries, Departments, and Agencies in the State.
The Permanent Secretary Ben Ezema advised dvised information officers to be efficient in their duty posts and shun idleness.
