Good News! Enugu Former Governor, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi Rolls Out Huge Financial Resources to Accommodate More Enugu Citizens in his Humanitarian Initiative "The Gburugburu Free Surgery Programme"

Enugu State was thrown into jubilation on Wednesday as the former Governor of Enugu State, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, has allocated substantial financial resources to expand the reach of the "Gburugburu Free Surgery Programme," a humanitarian initiative aimed at providing free healthcare services to the people of Enugu. Under this program, all Enugu residents in need of surgery are encouraged to report to Julius Ajogwu Memorial Hospital in Nsukka or contact the program's director, Dr. George Ajogwu, at 08112296124 for free medical care.

Dr. George Ajogwu, the program's director, recently announced this generous funding, emphasizing that Governor Ugwuanyi has allocated additional funds for the refurbishment of the hospital facility. These funds will be used to acquire advanced surgical equipment and secure essential medical supplies and personnel, with the goal of accommodating as many surgery cases as possible. 

This initiative is a testament to Governor Ugwuanyi's commitment to supporting the good governance of the current Enugu State administration, led by Governor Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah and Deputy Governor Barr. Ifeanyi Ossai.

Notably, the Gburugburu Free Surgery Programme conducted a series of surgeries on August 20th, 24th, and 27th, 2023, which brought the total number of beneficiaries to an impressive 1,343 individuals. This milestone underscores the tangible impact of the program on the lives of countless Enugu citizens who have received vital medical interventions.

Governor Ugwuanyi's ongoing financial support for this healthcare initiative reflects his enduring dedication to the health and well-being of Enugu citizens, even after leaving office.
