The skill acquisition training, organized under the banner of the Hon. Princess Obiajulu Ugwu Outreach, is being held in commemoration of the 2023 World Youth Skill Day. The program, with the theme "One Youth, One Skill," is set to take place on Saturday, July 15, 2023, at the Grace of God Mission on One Day Road, Agbani Road in Enugu, starting at 9 a.m.
Hon. Princess Ugwu emphasized that the beneficiaries of this training initiative, primarily from Enugu South Rural Constituency, will receive comprehensive instruction from qualified trainers in various skills. The training will cover areas such as sewing, shoe making, paint making, and I.C.T. The aim is to provide the participants with practical knowledge that will enhance their employability and entrepreneurial prospects.
Expressing her optimism, the Deputy Minority Chief Whip believes that the skill acquisition training will empower the beneficiaries to achieve financial independence and make meaningful contributions to the development of both her constituency and Enugu State as a whole.
