Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi's Legacy Speaks. "Enugu Citizens Have Enjoyed Unprecedented Dividends of Democracy Under Ugwuanyi’s Administration" - NCPC

 


Enugu state under His Excellency, Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi's administration has sponsored thousands of pilgrims to the Holy Land of Israel, Jordan and Rome, spreading deep to various religious sites in Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Aqaba, Nazareth, Galilee, Madaba, Jericho; Mount Nebo, Jabbok River, Petra, Mount of Olives, Capernaum, Mount Zion, the Baptism Site Of Jesus Christ, St Peter's Basilica in the Vatican City, etc, an outstanding performance in Christian Pilgrimage, earning him "the Best Pilgrimage Governor Award in 2021" by the National Christian Pilgrimage Commission, NCPC.
The 2023 Easter Pilgrimage, flagged off on the 8th of May 2023, hosting over 300 Enugu sponsored pilgrims was one of Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi's Administration’s strides which interpreted his relationship with God and love for Ndi Enugu.
The sincere and dedicated efforts of the Executive Secretary of Enugu State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Hon. Barr. Nestor Ezeme, has to a great extent, contributed to the success of the spiritual exercise as the National Christian Pilgrims Commission NCPC has repeatedly rated the Enugu State Pilgrimage as the most organised, commending the commitment of the Governor and the Executive Secretary Barr. Ezeme.
The last spiritual journey in May 8, was made up of mostly Priests; Bishops, Reverend Fathers, Pastors and other ordained men of God who travelled to the holy land to pray for peace and security of the state and smooth transition of government come May 29th, marking the last batch pilgrimage journey in Gov. Ugwuanyi's administration.
