Monorail is one of the fastest and also the cheapest transit systems in the world and requires the lowest operating and maintenance costs. In Chongqing, China alone, the monorail system operates approximately 1.3 million passengers per day. Apart from China, Japan and India have several monorail networks, with more planned, and they have also been built in Australia, Germany, the US and Malaysia. Here in Nigeria, the Rivers state government also started the construction of the Rivers Monorail system in 2012 and partially completed in 2017.
With an average speed of 430 km/h (270 mph) of a modern Monorail, you can comfortably live in Nsukka, Udi or Awgu and work in Enugu town without reporting late to work or at your business place.
This is just the tip of the iceberg. It is to remind you that Peter Mbah is coming with many innovative ideas to transform Enugu state to one of the topnotch states in West Africa.
These plans are not only ambitious but also necessary for the development of Enugu State. The dualization of the Abakpa, Ugwuogo Nike-Nsukka road will ease traffic, reduce accidents, curb insecurity and improve transportation in the state. The monorail will provide a faster and more efficient means of transportation, while the ring road will connect all parts of the state, making it easier for people to travel from one area to another.

His victory on the 18th of March 2023, was a clear indication of the people's confidence in his ability to deliver on his promises.
