Please, quickly read through this short message and decide who you are going to vote for:
No doubt, all of us in Enugu State were Obidients. Forget about the fake news that some people campaigned against Peter Obi. We voted Labour Party because of Peter Obi and his competence, and now, the Obi election is over and we know God is on it.
We will not allow some people who are incompetent, who have no agenda; whose previous records in offices were bad and terrible to capitalize on Peter Obi’s popularity to ride to office. We are rejecting opportunists. We have become wiser.
Enugu State Governorship and House of Assembly Election is just a few days away. We are voting *competence, capability, credibility, capacity, leadership qualities, and exceptional track records*.
We are not voting for *Labour Party, PDP, APC, YPP, ADC, NNPP*. They’re just political parties. We are voting for persons and we need to know those we are voting for.
*Now consider this:*
Chijioke Edeoga was elected in 1999 as a federal lawmaker (House of Representatives) under the PDP. He has nothing to show for his stewardship. He failed as a lawmaker. No road to his Eha-mufu village until Gov. Ugwuanyi, his cousin, intervened.
Edeoga was appointed as Presidential Adviser to Goodluck Jonathan under PDP. Nothing to show for his leadership all the years he spent. He didn’t employ anyone from his community
Edeoga was appointed Commissioner for Local Government where funds were mismanaged and nothing to show for his leadership steward. He spent 4 years as Commissioner for Local Government where billions of naira were mismanaged. It is on record.
Edeoga was appointed *Commissioner for Environment* and Enugu State under him was taken over by heaps of rubbish and the streets were littered by dirtiness and almost had airborne diseases under his leadership. Enugu people will not forget in a hurry how Enugu streets under his leadership became a nightmare. He has no explanation as to what made him fail. It’s *gross incompetence*.
Now, Edeoga left PDP to Labour Party in August 2022 when he failed to clinch the party ticket. Because he joined Labour Party, his sins have been forgotten? Has he become a saint all of a sudden? Remember, Labour Party is just a platform. Edeoga cannot hide under Labour Party after spending over 23 years in PDP where he has been holding different offices and he failed in those offices.
I’m wondering if it’s another Chijioke Edeoga or the same Edeoga that jumped from the PDP to the Labour Party that has become a saint now.
Up till now, Edeoga has no manifesto and no agenda of what he would do if elected governor. If you have seen his manifesto or agenda, please, share it with us
How do you elect someone who has nothing to offer? How do you hold him responsible in office? He has not told the people of Enugu State what he will do for them. Please, don’t make a mistake that you will live to regret.

Let each candidate for Enugu State governorship election campaign based on their past achievements, track records and manifesto.
It is time to ask questions. If Edeoga hurriedly write something now and present it as his manifesto, what time do we have to interrogate him?
What we are fighting for is, competence and capacity to lead. We are no longer doing political parties.
If PDP OR APGA presents a better candidate, we will vote for him.
If ADC presents a better candidate, we will vote for him.
Labour Party has presented the worst candidate in Enugu State for governor. Chijioke Edeoga has a history of failure and incompetence.
If Edeoga couldn’t show leadership grits for over 30 years in power, then why should I vote him? He can’t transform overnight to a saint because he defected to another political party.
