National Youth Council Of Nigeria (NYC) Congratulates Barr. Peter Mbah, PDP and Ndi Enugu

The apex youths umbrella body in Nigeria, the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Enugu State Chapter has sent a congratulatory message to the Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, the Enugu State winner of the just concluded governorship election. The organization's official congratulatory message was contained in a statement signed by the Chairman and the Secretary, Comrade Bartholomew Okoh and Comrade Darlington Ugwuegbe respectively.

Congratulatory Message Reads;

CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE TO PETER NDUBUISI MBAH, PDP AND NDI ENUGU.

The Enugu State Leadership of the National Youth Council of Nigeria - NYCN, on behalf of the entire youths and youth Organizations in Enugu State felicitates with you, the Governor-elect of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah on your victory in the just concluded Enugu State gubernatorial elections.

In celebrating this victory, we must recognise that the triump is not exclusive to you, Peter Ndubuisi Mbah because it is a triumph  owned by the entire Enugu people all over the world. Enugu has successfully scaled a major historical cross-road  that will go on to shape the destiny of our dear state. 

We heartily commend  the youths of Enugu State for Coordinating ourselves on a high plane of dignity and discipline even in the face of  heightened tensions as a result of the 3-day suspension of collation by the Independent National Electoral Commission. Throughout the process, we remained law abiding while creatively insisting that INEC does her job without favouring any particular political party. Alas, the process has produced for us a leader who is most manifestly atuned to the lofty growth concerns and aspirations of Ndi Enugu. 

As the Apex youth organization, we have not failed to note that your manifesto maintains a strong focus on youth development as the bedrock from which the latent potentials of the state can be unleashed. We are creatively fascinated by your vision for a smart and digitally compliant  Enugu State that would open alleyways to creative inventions and innovations among young persons. We constantly imagine and reimagine an Enugu with constant water supply not just in the metropolis but in our different communities and villages.  These are the hopes and assurances that births our excitement over your victory. Realise that by this celebration, we are calling your attention to the towering heights of our expectations and the expectations of the entire Ndi Enugu. 

While we identify that the task that destiny has called you to is heinous, we also with confidence recognize that it is not beyond your talents given your impressive track record of private and public service. As the Apex Youth Organization, We assure you of our continued support and partnership in the all important Job of youth emancipation.  
We have no ounce of doubt that your emergence would usher in a  new Dawn of progress for Enugu State.
