Civil Society Organisations Call on Critical Stakeholders In Enugu State to Enthrone Peace Ahead March 18th 2023, Guber & State Assembly Elections. "Call on fathers of peace; the Governor, the archbishops, the Force and all Traditional and Religious Heads to Own Peace and instill it before 18th of March 2023

The Civic space is bleak and darkened for glare truth lost, the civil society hear faster being at the centre of it all, the speculations, angst and Intel gotten within the state reveals that a good number of youths are posing to be instruments of violence and we can't let this happen. Fathers!!! You can't let this happen and you can't smoothen it out with funds or it's likes.

We can't let our Enugu be burnt up for an ephemeral stance, as heavy and achieving as 8 years may be, it is soon fleeting and mundane to take even a strand of someone's hair unjustly .

 The people have suffered enough in this times and seasons to hear that somebody or a bullet hit somebody down for want of a major party or candidate, 'every breathe matters not to talk of any breathe stopping for standing at the polls. We can't go 24 years back, we would rather move 24 years better.

Fathers!! Oh our fathers!!! sit back and think of our future and yours, you also have a generation to live behind. We can't push ourselves into hell by our selves. This quest for power was long seen by Socrates, the corruption of power. however it shouldn't be a do or die affair. Enugu State should maintain that peaceful difference

There's an ill-wind knitted with power desperation that May consume our whole if we all don't stop this . The beauty of a nation lies in it's Government and cooperation of the people thus the government must take the lead .

Our society is a rickety bus riding in a broken bridge, we can't speed off on a lost track, we should only find ways to amend broken paths ,get a new bus or trek peacefully.

Women and Csos have come out today to publicly write you and plead you forestall peace and be a constant instrument of peace, Our Governor (Ezeudo) this name will outlive you , the Archbishops stop with your endorsements and just tell us to vote our choice or choices,

 Traditional heads , speak to your sons, families assembly your lot and talk sense into them. Crime is being perpetrated by humans not robots so we can work it . Yes!! We can.

Saturday 18th of March, think deeply into your life, our lives,  history, future, our struggle for unity and love and see that we mustn't dose off over this prempted violence. 

The church should desist from all political dramas and preach love and unity, it's the mandate of the church to pray in solace and ambience into our lives and politics not preach in factions.

Dear youths , our campiagn can be devoid of hate speech, faction, bias or prejudice. We want to listen more to what your political party plans to set right and improve on .  We are desirous of your strength not the weaknesses of other parties .It is both reprehensible,derogatory and sapping to find us infusing doses of anger and igniting tensions on minds that are ready to erupt at any choice meal or even less than a choice meal .

Women are crying out to Our father's and saying it quite heavily that you all should remember tomorrow and Us. Our children are here, our families are here,anything can happen to anyone. You all have us to protect.

We can't murder democracy by ourselves and not eat the fruit of Macbeth. Peace will reign'

May we rise today in total strength and foster all sources of cementing peace in all political spaces .

Can you people give us your word that the electorates will be jointly protected from harm.
