Enugu Youth Reform Initiative Continues Campus-to-Campaus Engagement For Barr Peter Mbah ...As Group Visits ESUT, ESCET, Distributes Water and other Students Primary Needs for Election Period.

A prominent Enugu Diasporan youth group Known as Enugu Youth Reform Initiative (EYRI) has continued to reach out to the students and youth communities in the campuses in Enugu State with the good news of Barr. Ndubuisi Mbah, the Enugu State PDP gubernatorial candidate, to intimate the teaming youths with the blue print of Mbah’s good intentions for the state as contained in his best rated Statement of Purpose (Manifesto).

It was was a heartwarming moments at Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) Agbani and Enugu State College of Education Technical (ESCET) Enugu, as a delegation of Enugu Youth Reform Initiative arrive the campuses to engage the students on the forthcoming general elections, the modalities of the INEC newly introduced BVAS and the need for the youths who dominate the larger percentage of Nigerian population to come out en-mass to participate in the voting exercise.


Recall the Global President of Enugu Youth Reform Initiative, Hon. Emma Tochukwu Nwaozuzu through a press statement made known to the general public on the 16th of February stated the group's unanimous resolve to openly campaign for and support Barr. Peter Mbah to become the next Governor of Enugu State after examining all gubernatorial candidates in Enugu, stating their intention to immeiately kick-start a campus-to-campaus campaign for Barr Peter Mbah and Ifeanyi Ossai.
Statement read in part;
"It is therefore not a time for anybody to sit on the fence or feign neutrality. This is why our organization has collaborated with other relevt bodies in driving advocacies and campaigns that ensure that a good population of diasporans vote in elections"
"We want to inform Ndi Enugu that we are already on ground and ready for the elections. As part of plans to be actively involved in voting in the right candidate, we are immediately kick-starting a campus to campus sensitisation program to speak directly to our fellow young persons in the campuses on the need to take their future into their hands."
Surprisingly, the diasporan youth group did not only educate the students on voting process, the group after advising them on the need to avoid being used by politicians to cause mayhem during the elections, also went ahead to sort out the students immeiate primary needs that which they could be provided to cushion the current effect of hardship in country especially during election period. Majority of students complained of water scarcity and other needs which the group made immediate arrangements to provide them.
The students of ESUT and ESCET welcomed the youth delegates and expressed their willingness to deliver Peter Mbah while thanking them for their humanitarian gestures.
