This was reached after the farmers gathered to distribute the Agro organic products provided by Southfield Agro network to support farmers in the region.
The farmers were grateful to Hon Giovanni Madubuaku for all the free training and support he has been providing to the farmers in Awgu and Enugu State. During the meeting The President of the farmers Associations forum seized the opportunity to inform the farmers of the good plans the senatorial candidate of the peoples democratic party, Engr.Osita Ngwu (RG) has for farmers in the region.
They farmers also informed of his plan to support them with agro processing equipment and support for all reason farming in the region. RG who spoke through his representative Hon Solomon Udeh supported the farmers with agro organic products ,fertilizers, herbicides and pesticides worth 500,000 naira.
He has also promised to support the farmers with 700,000 naira to support the all season farming in Awgu LGA.
The coordinators have been mandated to forward the banking details of the beneficiaries for immediate funding. The farmers have compelled all its members to see the Osita Ngwu Project as the project of the farmers in Awgu and promised to guarantee their votes in the coming senatorial Election.
Inconcusion Hon Giovanni assured the farmers that more positive empowerment will be coming their way through Southfield Agro network and told them to ignore politicians with fictitious, artificial and non sustainable projects for the people. The coordinators will be holding their town meet to continue the positive evangelism.
