The campaign which started with a courtesy Visit to HRH Igwe Victor Mmeniru, also paid a condolence visit to the family of late Ide Elvis Onuzuluike.
Stakeholders and indigenes of the two wards advised RG and Omeiheukwu to concentrate their efforts in other local governments as their own people have met and resolved, not only to vote for them, but to ensure landslide and overwhelming winning for them.
RG and Omeiheukwu who were visibly elated at the turn out and level of assurances and confidence exuded by the people, promised to give them and the general Indigenes of the constituency the best representation.
In their words, "no other legislator will do for their people what we are resolved to do for you, and the records will be there for everyone".
Therefore, it is only incumbent on us, dear good people of greater Awgu and Enugu West, to support and vote for Engr. Osita Ngwu (RG), the PDP candidate for Enugu West Senatorial district, and Engr. Dr. Anayo Onwuegbu (Omeiheukwu), the PDP candidate for Awgu/Aninri/Oji River federal constituency.
