It was Barr. Nana Ogbodo that popularized the maxim, "When evil men conspire, let good men combine". True to their evil nature, the opposition parties are plotting to undermine a good man called Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, the PDP gubernatorial frontrunner for the March 11. 2023 election.
The rambling vituperative allegation of forgery of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) certificate of Dr. Peter Mbah submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission released and circulated by the decimated opposition elements using a feckless, harebrained and moronic group at Abuja has revealed to the world how those who want to preside over the affairs of Enugu State operate at low level emitting sophistry, lies, fake news and misconceptions about the unblemished personality of Dr. Peter Mbah on social media space.
For the avoidance of any doubt, i want to categorically state that Dr. Peter Mbah was duly mobilized for the one-year mandatory national youth service in Lagos State in 2002, completed the exercise and was issued his NYSC discharge certificate without any impediment. This is the undeniable fact and the oppositions have nothing to contravene it except mischievous fabrications and invented spurious stories. Ndi Enugu should be apathetic to all their deceptions and fabrications.
The Freedom of Information Act is a potent instrument that makes public records and information more freely available to enquiring members of the public. It is important and pertinent that Intrested Nigerians or civil society organisations apply and make conversations with the NYSC at their headquarters to substantiate the authenticity of the purported letter which of course is totally spurious and false.
It is few weeks to the gubernatorial election and the oppositions have not laid bare their social contract with Ndi Enugu by presenting a manifesto. They are not ready for a new level of issue-based campaign because they have nothing to offer Ndi Enugu besides vociferous propaganda and falsehoods. What Enugu needs at this time is a progressive and visionary leader with deep connections and clout in the private sector, enabling the influx of investments, thereby addressing the myriad and mutually reinforcing problems of unemployment, poverty, crime and insecurity. Unfortunately, none of these aspirants in other parties comes close to the caliber of the man, Peter Ndubuisi Mbah. They are unprepared and lack pedigree and capacity to govern the capital of the Igbo nation both at home and in the diaspora.
Dr Mbah has continuously stated categorically that he shall make agriculture a profitable business that will create jobs for our teeming youths and women, increase productivity five folds, deepen agricultural markets, increase incomes to farmers and revenue contribution to the state; while also turning rural areas and dormant lands into agricultural productivity zones that will drive out insecurity and hunger in the state.
Few who were uncertain about their support for Dr Mbah because of how the opposition are operating at gutter level spewing out vermin on Mbah who they conspicuously envy for his prodigious achievements and impacts have seen that all the false allegation about the phantom Ego Ndi Enugu, EFCC, FBI, NYSC forged certificate and all that are delusional gibberish heaped on Dr. Peter Mbah to bring him down from the apogee of unblemished greatness which he earned by dint of hard work and tenacity of purpose. Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah has always dared to succeed even in the face of mountainous biles from the opposition.
In Enugu today, the majority has combined to support Dr. Mbah who has an unmatched blueprint of service and accountability for Ndi Enugu. He is busy going to the nooks and crannies of the state; preaching and educating those in the hinterlands and downtown about his programmes, plans and agenda for the people of Enugu state as recently seen in his just concluded Town-hall meetings which held in the 68 development centers of the state. It is certain that the evil conspiracy of these pockets of feeble men in the opposition cannot stop Mbah's emergence come March 11, 2023.
