The event was held at Onoli Community School Field and had in attendance tye governor of Enugu State, His Excellency Rt. Hon. Dr. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi "Gburugburu" who was represented by the Commissioner for Local Government Affairs, Hon. Peter Okonkwo; the Incoming governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Ndụbụisi Mbah ably represented by Deacon Okey Ogbodo; the Incoming Senator Enugu West Senatorial Zone, Engr. Osita Ngwu; the House of Rep. Flagbearer Awgu/Aninri/Oji-River Federal Constituency, Chief Engr. Anayọ Ọnwụegbu; the two Flag-bearers of Awgu North/Awgu South State Constituency, Hon. Mrs Jane Chinwendu Eneh and Hon. Tony Nwankwo respectively, the Chairman Council of Traditional Rulers in Awgu LGA, HRH Igwe Maduabuchi Nevo-ọbasị and numerous political heavyweights from Awgu LG and Enugu. The event started with a Mass service by the Bishop of Awgu Catholic Diocese, John IfeanyiChukwu Okoye.
