Amidst fanfare and an electrifying atmosphere, the PDP Enugu East senatorial district held her solidarity rally at the ever busy Michael Okpara square Enugu, to show support for the party's governorship candidate Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah and his Deputy, Barr. Ifeanyi Ossai.
In the words of Dr Ben Nwoye, former state chairman of All Progressive Congress, APC, he stated that having critically studied all the governorship aspirants across the political parties in the state, that Peter Mbah stands shoulder above others.
He said: “Peter Mbah is the incoming governor of Enugu State. We have looked at everything, we studied your manifesto and character, we looked at your temperament and you stood out among others.
“We concluded that the decision on the leadership of Enugu State should not be by party, I’m a member of APC but I and my followers will vote for you,”
The assertion of Dr Nwoye who spoke on behalf of Sen Ken Nnamani and other leaders of APC in the state did not however come as a surprise as the candidate of PDP ticks all boxes in the qualities expected of a great leader.
The leadership and members of Enugu North Future Leaders Forum wishes to express their gratitude to the Ken Nnamani led faction of APC in the state for rising to occasion to endorse the candidature of PDP despite belonging to the opposition party. It has continued to highlight the organic acceptance of Peter Mbah and his deputy Ifeanyi Ossai.
