As an organic student structure with the sole aim of delivering the votes of the student community to Barr. Peter Mbah and his running mate Barr. Ifeanyi Ossai for the lion building come 2023, the DG of the movement in his opening speech shade great light on the theme of the tour, "The importance of students participation in electoral process". Comr Charles raised an issue based on his observations on the political apathy among students participation in political process, stating that this in the time past has caused the students a great deal, "however, for turning up in this Town Hall Meeting, i am convinced and we have seen your readiness to change the narratives and join hands in building Enugu to a State that we all desire through our vote come 2023. He further advised the students on the best way to ensure that their future is secured thus; (1) Students should make it a point of great importance to go and collect their PVC as it's the only legitimate evidence that qualifies one to vote on an election day as back up by the Constitution.
(2) All the students must endeavor to come out on the election day haven collected their PVC. (3) The DG advised the students to be patient after casting their votes to join in counting the totals votes at the end of the day, like he said with the current reforms of the INEC our votes this time around will count.
The DG concluded with the saying that Peter Mbah is the right man for the job not because of his money but because of his track records not just in politics but in the private sector of which the whole world could see, evident in Pinnacle Oil and Gas.
The Deputy director general of Peter Mbah Students Movement PMSM, Comr. kenechukwu Aneke, aka "Okwuluora" who hails from Enugu West senatorial zone of the state and also a student of Osisatech Polytechnic during his first degree, commenced by appreciating the students of Osisatech Polytechnic Enugu for coming in their numbers on the bases of the town hall meeting, he commends their teaming support to the PDP guber candidate Hon Barr Peter Mbah over his political ambition come 2023, tagging it the right step on a right direction. Comr Aneke whilst interacting with the students gave out cash prizes to students who answered correctly questions on the personality of Peter Mbah and Enugu State current affairs. The capacity comrade in conclusion advised the category of who are already through with their course work to engage on meaningful activities while waiting to be called for NYSC as there is no knowledge is a waste.
Comr. Stellamaris Chiamaka (Lolo Akpakpando) who is currently the chief media to the Aninri local government Chairman and also the director gender affairs of Peter Mbah Students Movement PMSM, begins with telling her story of how she picked interest in politics, how she benefited from it and as such encourages the students on the need for their participation in electoral process. Stellamaris in her brief background on politics took the students aback to when the current governor made promise of scholarship scheme for Enugu Students in the event that he wins so she picked her voters card and voted for *Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi.* However, months into the administration the governor through the Enugu State Scholarship Board which is been square headed by Hon Levi Abonyi fulfilled his promise to the students and today her stay in the university (ESUT) was fully funded by the state government. It is her believe that the candidacy of Hon Barr Peter Mbah has more to offer to students and as such she enjoined the students to vote for the Mbah/Ossai ticket for governor of Enugu State come 2023. The young lady enclosed with advising her fellow ladies on the power of women participation in politics and as such encourages the girls to aim high for the sky is large enough to accommodate all dreams.
A talent show contest was displayed as part of the entertainment package of the Peter Mbah Students Movement PMSM whilst academic materials were being distributed to the students. Note that the Peter Mbah Students talent hunt will at end of the campaign be concluded where winners from various institution will come together to compete and a winner for the state will be declared. In the course of the Osisatech Polytechnic talent hunt two students emerged;
Comr. Patrick Rex - computer science student, while,
Gift Chigozie a mass communication student. The winners where given instant material prize.
The students were so happy about the visit and as such declared their total vote and support to Hon Barr Peter Mbah for governor of Enugu State come 2023. However, the students raised certain issues they wish for Barr Peter Mbah to address in their school when he finally wins thus;
Comr. Henshaw Emefiong a mass communication Student wants the incoming governor to intervene in the renovation of the school auditorium to match with what other schools have.
Comr. Agboje Boniface a student of mass communication department raised the issue of sports facilities and indoor games as it will help in building up their I.Q, and also pleads with the incoming governor to help enhance the mass communication department and equip it with facilities that will aid easy academic learning in that department.
The SUG President Rt. Comr. Ifeanyi Cornelius N. in his remarks expressed his heart felt gratitude to the leadership of the Peter Mbah Students Movement PMSM for finding time to be with the students of Osisatech Polytechnic amidst the Sit at home order, It can only be an act born out of love he said. He made few requests on behalf of the entire Students thus; (a) The incoming governor should please takcle the issue of security as it's the first assurance of peace and normalcy in every society. (b) The administration of the incoming governor Barr Peter Mbah to please introduce innovative and entrepreneurship programs that will ensure the employability of the teeming demography of graduates. Once again in a special way he thanks the Peter Mbah Students Movement PMSM team for visiting the school.
