The thrust of Peter Mbah's economic policies will be to improve the overall material standards of living, using his experience in government and private sector to provide the legal and social framework, maintain competitive economy, provide public goods and services and redistribute income to stabilise the economy.
Given Dr. Peter Mbah’s wealth of experience and background in the private sector, He understands the pains investors sometimes must endure investing in some states in Nigeria. Thus, this opportunity to change things positively is not one he would take for granted.
To this end, he shall strengthen the operations of the current One Stop Centre of the State to facilitate the opening of new businesses and other activities by investors.
He will also ensure the ease of procurement of building permits within a reasonable time and limit the time for procurement of property registration and acquisition of Certificates of Occupancy to not more than one week from application.
These and more will be implemented to see that Enugu is ranked number 1 as a designated state for Startups.
