It was on this premise that the Enugu PDP Governorship candidate, Barr. Peter Ndubisi Mbah who understood the importance and role of education in economic development, prioritized education as boldly captured in page 46 of his statement of purpose, "Education empowers the individual; and provide key manpower needs for the state to develop. Therefore, we will carefully ensure that we provide qualitative formal and i informal education across the state from primary to tertiary level "
On behalf of Barr. Peter Mbah, a popular support group Known as ROCK AMBASSADORS FOR BARR PETER NDUBUISI MBAH yesterday being the 16th Day of December 2022, identified a young brilliant but underprivileged teenager, Master Samuel Nnaji, a native of Obuofia in Nkanu West LGA, Enugu State and a student of Uwani Secondary School and offered him with a scholarship to tertiary education.
While responding to FountainCare Reporters when asked what moved them to swing into action,
The Director General of Rock Ambassadors for Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, Igwe Adinde Chibueze who was warmly welcomed by the management staff of Uwani Secondary school, stated that their action was in line with Peter Mbah’s philosophical approach on education, Mr. Igwe went further to narrate how the group received a distress mail appealing for a financial help to aid a brilliant young man who could not afford his exam fees and decided to it up on behalf Peter Mbah as part of Rock Ambassadors agenda.
"Among other things, education helps people become better citizens by inculcating good morals in them to know and respect rights, laws and decorum to shape a better society. We are investing in education knowing fully well that it's one of the greatest empowerment and sustainable human capital development that can never be taken away from a beneficiary. Education aids national growth and individual self-development and as such, needs the attention of every well meaning citizen as boldly outlined in Barr Peter Mbah’s Manifesto" says Igwe Adinde Chibueze, the DG, The Rock Ambassadors For Barr. Peter Mbah.
Indeed, Master Samuel whose academic dreams was about to cut short due to inability to pay tuition cum External exam fees because of financial challenges saw light at the end of tunnel.
The DG after receiving testimonies from the management staff and teachers of Uwani Secondary school did not just pay for school fees WAEC and NECO but equally promised to see master Samuel Nnaji to university levels as teachers confirms with record that his an A1 Student always talking the first positions.
The Principal while responding to the kind gesture thanked the Members of Rock Ambassador led by its DG for encouraged them to continue the great job of humanity while calling on other spirited individual to always visit the school to select less financially Privileged students .
Master Samuel Nnaji and his Mother, Mrs Loveth Nnaji, who was overwhelmed by this kind gesture, showered prayers and thankfulness to Barr. Peter Mbah and the Rock Ambassador Family saying it's a prayer answered for them. Master Samuel Nnaji assured the DG of good conduct and promises to be a Good Ambassador.
Other persons at the event include, Mr. Chukwuemeka Ani, Youth President, All saint Methodist Church, the State Secretary of Rock Ambassadors, Engr. Ikechukwu Ogbodo, the Enugu East Zonal Coordinator of Rock Ambassadors Prince Stephen Ngene , and the Director of Contact and mobilization, Comr. Chukwuebuka Ogbodo.
