Speaking on behalf of the group, the Director General of Kwado Peter-Mbah Movement, Hon. Monday Diamond Ani, explained that Kwado Peter-Mbah Movement which was birthed by kwado Nkanu Movement is truly a unique support group because of the influential nature of its State leadership, BOT Members,Patrons, Patronesses,Local Government Coordinators and Members from the Wards as well as the mission and vision of the organization which entails one on one persuasion and conviction of the equalities of the PDP Governorship Candidate Barr Peter Mbah and his Deputy Barr Ifeanyi Ossai as well as all the PDP Candidates in forthcoming Election in Enugu State.
He stressed that truly, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah and Barr. Ifeanyi Ossai are perfect combination of elegance whose great antecedents speak volume.
Monday Diamond Ani, on behalf of the group assured Mbah and Ossai of 100% support and solidarity, and informed them of the group’s next line of action to the grassroots to tell the rural people about their Candidates.
The PDP gubernatorial candidate and the incoming Governor of Enugu State, addressing the support group, said that apart from other sundry issues to be tackled squarely, his government is targeted at lifting the IGR of the state from 4.4bn to 30bn.
Mbah also assured the group that he will do everything humanly possible to make sure his administration will be a remarkable one to Ndi Enugu. He enjoins the entire executive and members of KWADO PETER-MBAH MOVEMENT of his total willingness and commitment to work with them before and after election.
However, it's worthy to note that Dr. Peter Mbah's manifesto, titled "statement of purpose" state it clearly that _"Enugu will join oil producing state and attract privates sector investments by making the environment attractive to investors. That he will enable the ease of doing business, create special economic zone and as well, encourage young people who are doing well in ICT, by providing all the necessary facilities and infrastructure to explore their full potential."
Highlights of the visit was the presentation of KPM brochures (which is one of it's kind) and crested caps for the said Movement as well as Sensitisation Time Table.
The meeting also recorded the presence of the PDP Youth Leader Enugu State Hon Patty Okoh who is a BOT Member in KPM,State Executives and Local Government Coordinators. While the likes of the Nollywood Twins Chidinma and Chidibere Aneke as well as Link Edochie who are some of KPM Ambassadors were in attendance.
