But the Coalition is not leaving any breathing space for the opposition. Consequently, it has extended the support base for Peter Mbah beyond the shores of Nigeria. Led by the inspiring and dynamic DG, Hon. Dr. Chinedu Nwamba, the Coalition is sweeping through Europe with Peter Mbah’s message of Economic Quantum Leap and Disruptive Innovation. In fact, in a space of less than four days, two vibrant support groups were established in Western Europe: Germany and Netherlands, and a third one is about taking off in Turkey.
During the inauguration in Germany on October 30, 2022, Kenneth Ozor, the Coordinator of the support group in Germany, expressed his amazement at Peter Mbah’s audacious exploits in the corporate world and vowed to lead a robust campaign for him in Germany and beyond.
The diaspora support groups are crucially important for two reasons: one, it aligns with Peter Mbah’s plan to establish what he called a Diaspora Bond in which money remitted from oversees in hard currencies will no longer be reduced to mere consumption for families in the State, but will be channelled into investment and economic growth. This is a think-home process powered by Mbah’s unprecedented investment drive that will give Nigerians abroad, especially Enugu State indigenes solid financial base to retire home to in their old age.
Two, in a world in which the online news media – Twitter, Facebook, Instagram etc. - have become much more influential in shaping public opinion than the traditional news platforms, it may be politically suicidal to ignore the strident voices of our brothers and sisters abroad. Their exposure gives them a vantage position in driving public opinion at home, hence the need to incorporate them into Peter Mbah’s vision for the State.
In early October 2022, Peter Mbah and Ifeanyi Ossai were in the US to spread their message of the coming new era. Hon. Dr. Chinedu Nwamba has followed up on their inaugural effort by taking their plan of a new Enugu to Western Europe. It is important that other Alliance Groups for Peter Mbah take the cue and help to diffuse the good news to other foreign capitals.
Peter Mbah and Ifeanyi Ossai are definitely not a hard-sell. Their economic blue-print is unmatched anywhere in the country. In fact, we need them more than they need us. Arise then O compatriots! Let’s get the message out there!
