Indigenous students of Nkanu land from all tertiary institutions in Nigeria have unanimously endorsed Barr. Peter Mbah/Ifeanyi Ossai's candidacy under the aegis of 'Nkanu Students Movement for Peter Mba'. According to the leader of the pioneer students political movement in Nkanu Land (Enugu East Senatorial Zone), Comr. Charles Nnaemeka Edeh, the movement is necessitated by the need to explore students' potentials to galvanise support for the PDP gubernatorial flag bearer of Enugu State, Barr. Peter Ndubisi Mbah and his running mate, Barr. Ifeanyi Ossai through the numerical strength, structure, network and vibrancy among the students community who dominate the lager part of the youth constituency. The group is spurred by the love they have for the aspirants and the need to vote in a competent and experienced leader who will transform the state come 2023 through the instrumentality of their permanent voters card (PVC).
In his press statement with FountainCare Reporters, Comr. Edeh appreciated the governor of Enugu state, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Dr. Ifeanyi Lawrence Ugwuanyi and the citizens of the state for installing Nkanu man as the PDP gubernatorial flag bearer. Statement read in part; "we the students of Nkanu extraction home and abroad have vowed to give our maximum support to the son of Nkanu, Barr. Peter Ndubisi Mbah and his running mate, Barr. Ifeanyi Ossai on the journey to 2023 which officially commenced on the 28th of September 2022. We are not stopping there, we will continue to engage other youths and student bodies to join forces and mobilize massive votes and support for a landslide victory of Barr. Peter Mbah/Ifeanyi Ossai and all PDP candidates come 2023 general election".
The leader of the student movement, Comr. Charles Nnaemeka Edeh, went on to express his sincere gratitude to the massive support the group has already began to receive from political stakeholders, business men and women from Nkanu land and other lovers of Ugwuanyi, Peter Mbah, Ifeanyi Ossai and Nkanu nation.
