2023: PDP NATIONAL ASSEMBLY CANDIDATES RECORD ADDITIONAL ENDORSEMENT IN EZEAGU

The Peoples Democratic Party-PDP Candidate for Enugu West seat in the Senate, Engr. Osita Ngwu and his counterpart for Udi/Ezeagu House of Representatives, Dr. FSA Uzor have received further boosts as both alongside other candidates of the party carried their campaign to Olo, Ezeagu local government area over the weekend.
To mark the visit, the PDP campaign team had an interactive session attended by  Olo, Stakeholders, Party loyalists, traditional councils, Youth organizations, women and the entire Olo community at the Model Secondary School, Olo during which the people were assured of renewed determination of the PDP to improve on the partnership between them, the party and the  government to  ensure that their various concerns are adequately addressed this time around.
The team through Engr Ngwu and Dr. Uzor (immediate past Chief of staff, Government House Enugu) informed the people of their resolve to work in synergy for adequate realisation of their expectations from government and urged them continue to support the government and the PDP.
Speaking on behalf of the people of Olo, a one time Chairman, of  Ezeagu Local Government Council, Barr. Julius Ogbuke and a former Transition Chairman of the Council Peter Aniagbaoso in their respective speeches pleaded with the candidates to consider the voting power of the communities in Olo while allocating resources in the interest of the people.
According to the spokespersons, there is the need for government to urgently address issues of marginalization suffered by Olo people especially in the key areas of infrastructure and human capital development. They also used the occasion to highlight problems of insecurity occasioned by the unwholesome activities of Fulani herdsmen in the area as well as the general lack of government presence as among protracted problems facing Olo as part of Ezeagu local government area of Enugu state.
In a brief remark. the Chairman of the PDP in Ezeagu, Hon. Anayo Chiude commended the candidates for coming to interact with people. He also used the occasion to reaffirm the readiness of the people to vote massively for the PDP come 2023 general elections.
In a related development, the Chairman of Enugu state Traditional Council and traditional ruler of Ezema Olo community, Ezeagu Local Govt  Area, Igwe Lawrence Agubuzu has commended the choice of Dr. F S A Uzor as the PDP's Candidate for Ezeagu/Udi Federal House of Representatives seat.
Igwe Agubuzu made the commendation while welcoming Dr Uzor and others who paid him a courtesy visit in his palace. 
The royal father described the immediate past Chief of staff Government House Enugu as reliable and unassuming personality with excellent leadership qualities capable of bringing honours to Enugu state in particular  and Igboland in general.
Igwe, Ambassador Agubuzu later handed to Dr. Uzor an Offor, symbol of special recognition while wishing him well in the 2023 election which would see him represent the people of Udi/Ezeagu Federal constituency  in the Federal House of Representatives in Abuja.
In his acceptance speech, Dr. Uzor pledged to give quality representation to the people of his constituency and congratulated the monarch for being  conferred with the national honours award of  Commander of the Federal Republic (CFR) by President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, in Abuja.
Dr. Uzor said that the national honours award was well deserved as it goes to recognizing Igwe Agubuzu's innumerable contributions to the political growth and stability of Enugu State in particular, and Nigeria in general.
The Director General for Dr. Festus Uzor Campaign Organization, Engr. Kene Eze, thanked the Royal father, for their hospitality and support to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)
